Rains's First Field Trip

Raina went on her 1st field trip to an apple orchard. She picked a bag full of apples Her first trip was soooooooooooooo much funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn:) When she got home she was proud of her apple picking skills and asked me to make something sweet out of the apples, so I made a tart. Check out the pic of the apple tart, it was so yummy:)

New School Year

The kiddies are enjoying the beginning of the new school year. So far, sooooooo good. Brendan is already signed up for the bridge club and he will be playing an instrument this year in band. As for little Raina, she is absolutely enjoying going to private school. Every morning she gets up and comes into my room and tells me "it's time for school." She is loving wearing a uniform and eating lunch at school. Will keep you updated and will post some pics of 1st school day. Thanks for looking XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Eve of The 2012-2013 School Year

Just pondering the upcoming school year on it's Eve.
I am really excited for Brendan to start his new school year in a new school. He is looking forward to seeing old friends and looking forward to meeting lots of new friends. For  him, it is a transition year where he can look forward to greater responsibility and lots of after school clubs. He wants to join the Student Council and The Drama Club for starters.
As for Raina, my baby is leaving me for an all day Kindergarten program at a local private school, uniform and all. She is excited to start Kindergarten and as always eager to make many new friends.She is growing up a little to fast for me, but I am so excited for her to move on to becoming a big girl. 
As all us parents prepare for the new school year, just remember we are such a big part of our children's success in school, so give yourself a pat on the back and big hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
